SAVE A CAN... SAVE A HERO

Founders Classical Academy in Conroe has partnered with Hero Barracks to honor Veterans and help raise money for homeless Montgomery County Veterans and First Responders. The SAVE-A-CAN... SAVE A HERO fundraiser campaign is being sponsored in large part by Conroe's VFW Post 4709. Grades K-9 are trying to collect as many aluminum cans and scrap / old appliances as possible to be recycled. The winning grade will be treated to a Pizza Party! So far, the Voyagers have collected over 18,400 cans to help the homeless! Great Job!!!
Our Hero Barracks Summer Olympics
fundraiser was held 7/15/2023
We had 47 participants and volunteers come out to support and enjoy our 2023 Summer Olympics! Teams competed in 5 different Games: Axe-throwing, Bowling, Pool, Darts and Vertical Cornhole / Boss Toss. In addition, we had a few Carnival skills games and a charitable raffle. Everyone had a blast and we netted $2,227 to help homeless in Montgomery County! Thank you all so much!!! We’ll be holding more fun events to raise funds and awareness in the near future.

Future Fundraising Event Schedule
We're doing everything we can to get Hero Barracks up and running! We're kicking off this series of events to raise money to purchase our first Emergency and Temporary Shelters. They are designed to be fun but also productive and informative. Please help and support any way you can!

Unfortunately, we cannot assist anyone Homeless with shelter at this time, but we can, and hope, to start attracting Team Members and Volunteers! Once we have a main housing campus, we will announce it on this site via social media platforms.
