We Can Help!

Once we have acquired or built our main campus, we intend to provide shelter and / or housing assistance. For immediate assistance scroll down a little further and see the next section titled 'More Help.' Based on Coalition for the Homeless data and GAP/Trend analysis, we see in the last few years that there have been 209-405 Homeless Veterans in Montgomery County, TX, with numbers rising from 2021 to 2022. Looking at 2020 Census Data, the over-all Montgomery County Homeless percentage is 2.13%. Multiplying that percentage by the MC population tells us that any given time, there could be as many as 580 in crisis. In addition, there are over 3,000 First Responders across MC. Based on US Department of Labor report, approximately 22% of all First Responders are Veterans.

Emergency Shelter

For those in immediate crisis, we plan to offer rooms or other accommodations for 1 to 6 nights, free of charge.

Temporary Housing

For those with bona fide needs, we plan to offer stand-alone 'tiny' homes or mobile homes, for 3 to 12 months, at a nominal monthly fee.

Stay Extensions

Our guests will be given initial stay lengths during intake; however, we may issue stay extensions based on availability and need.

Job Search

We intend to have a common office space with computers and printers to enable our guest to search for jobs and review other assistance programs, plus hold meetings and seminars.

Food / Clothes

In later phases of our development, we intend to accept food donations and periodically open the food pantry and clothes closet to our guests. We also intend to have a 'Victory' garden.

Permanent Housing

Guests will also be able to search and apply for more permanent housing in the common office, as well as seek assistance from our other nonprofit partners.
